paint No. on 1983 Volvo 240

hi, does anyone know where i can find the paint color number on my car? its not under the hood, although there is a blank white plate, so maybe it used to be there. any help appreciated.

Look near your right strut tower under the hood. It should have a dash number such as 130-1.
