Dutch guy joining the group
Hi all,
Parents have been long time Volvo fans (about five 145/245's), but I couldn't afford one till now. It's still killing me (2500$ dieselroadtax, 0.25$ per mile in fuelcosts, think about that the next time you're complaining about prices in the US... ) but at least I feel the family is traveling in safety
The barge is an old police car. Januari 2004 V70 AWD (not XC) with a D5 diesel engine and geartronic. Thought I had a bargain, until I had to replace the engine (about the same price as having all the issues fixed) and steering-assembly/housing.
Still plenty of issues to solve, so I'm a regular at several Volvo forums
Recently bought a back-row seat, so the three kids (now barely fitting in the back due to bulky safety-kiddy seats) can soon also take some friends.
Hope to find loads of answers and spread some knowledge as well.
See you around!
