Fairly new Volvo owner
[8D]Hello all,
Just wanted to say HI to everyone and let you know that I've bought a 1988 Volvo 760 Turbo back in June 2007. I have to admit I bought it because it was a good deal and seemed to be in good condition for its age. I have had to do some major work and some minor but all in all I love this car. Our family is military and we're only suppose to be out here in California for a little over a year or so. So I bought this car only to keep for that time frame and now I'm not sure I will ever give it up?? Anyway hey and look forward to reading the forums.

Welcome to the forum, nice machine you've got.
Make sure to follow scheduled maintenance stipulated in the owner's manual, if you wish to keep the car going as long as possible. Also, if the engine is of interference-type, make triple sure that the timing belt & its pulleys & tensioners have been done at every 70,000 miles or 5 years.
Best of luck to you,
JPN
