First time owner
Good Morning,
The wife and I purchased our very first Volvo over the weekend. We walked into the showroom and found a 2007 c70 completely loaded and we could not say no. We have had the car since Saturday and I do not think I have stopped smiling since. I look forward to spending a great deal of time on this forum and learning more about these great cars.
Thanks, Jordan

RE: First time owner
Hello Jordan,
Greetings from Yokohama, Japan.
I'm glad you & your wife got a nice C70. For your best driving experience, be sure to follow the scheduled maintenance specified in the owner's manual (remember, this is the first and biggest place where people fail to follow vehicle servicing guidance, and end up weeping later for non-drivable car because they didn't follow what was said in the manual). If you do follow the owner's manual, your Volvo would serve you many years & miles. Also, there may be recalls (not to worry, there is no such a thing called recall-free auto manufacturer), so be up-to-date on them and get them fixed free.
Keep the fluids & filters replaced regularly (though 2007 models probably don't need as frequent replacement as older models do, but engine oil & filter should still be changed at every 3,000 miles/5 months for turbo, 5,000 miles/6 months for non-turbo). Again, refer to the owner's manual.
Should you need technical assistance, post questions in the C70 forum rather than here or general forums, as both are rather dismal.
I wish you & your wife the best of driving pleasure in your C70!
Cheers,
JPN
