Hello everyone. I'm from Northern Virginia, and I bought a new 2023 XC60 last June when we needed to replace our Mercedes. My wife and I looked at 2023 Mercedes as a possible replacement, but she hated the new interior. We also looked at other brands and there were too many things that I didn't like. When we looked at Volvo, we looked at all 3 XC models, the XC60 was the one we liked most. It was a perfect size SUV for us. We bought the Ultimate model because my wife loved rear seats heating and cooling. It was something that our Mercedes didn't have. There are a lot of things about the Volvo that I liked and there are things that I missed from the Mercedes. Overall, we are very happy with the XC60. My college age daughter likes it so much that she already claimed it's her car, and that she will be taking it to college in the falls.

welcome to the forum. To note, when my kids went to college they both got Volvos. My eldest got our 95 850T wagon and my youngest got our 2000 S40 (still a daily driver)! Both survived north east winters, door dings and bumper scars from on street parking LOL. I kind of wished I took the 850 back but no space in the garage :-( but I still maintain the S40.
