Greetings from Vt!
I am a life-long Volvo lover who has finally gotten around to joining the forum! Greetings from Vermont! I currently own a 1971 145s, a 1997 855 GLT, and a 2009 C30 T5, which are, respectively, the 4th, 7th, and 8th Volvos in my life. I don't see any categories for models before the 240. Is there another forum dedicated to vintage Swedes? Or just not enough traffic to support separate categories? I would love to have a category for the 140 (or pushrods in general), and find some other 140 owners to chat with.

Welcome to the forum, fellow Vermonter (although I did not live in Vermont for 3 generations, I still consider myself as a semi-Vermonter).
I've lived in Poultney for 5.5 years (Green Mountain College, Class of 1997) and made friends throughout the state & adjoining states.
Burlington is the most beautiful town I've ever seen in my 36 years of life. I've spent my 5.5 years in Poultney, Hubberdton/Castleton and Rutland area. I can care less about Ludlow & Woodstock, as those towns seem to get half the town budget from speeding tickets. 5 mph over the posted limit and you're done.
Good old days..... I am currently stuck in my ugly homeland in Far East.
Anyway, welcome!!!

I know what you mean about Ludlow and Woodstock - I live in Springfield and have to drive through both frequently. I'm only a first generation Vermonter (both my parents are New Jersey transplants) but I was born and raised here, and don't call anywhere else home. Thanks for the welcome to the forum.

I must confess that several of my earlier Volvos were real junkers - you might not have wanted them. It's only been in the last few years that my fleet has reached a respectable level of quality. It's so much nicer to work on a car when you know that you will have it for a while and it's not a complete eyesore.
