Hi there,
Just bought an 04 S60 and thought it was time to join here. This is our 3rd Volvo since before I was married 23 years ago. My Dad retired from Volvo Heavy Truck years ago, so he always had a cool company car when we were growing up, and one company car that he bought ended up being my first. An 87 240 wagon that started my Volvo love affair. After I got married, my wife and I got a 98 V70 that was the love of my life along with my wife. Unfortunately we let a neighbor "borrow" the car for a trip a year ago and of course he wrecked it. That led us to the newest addition, a 2004 S60 that we found with 60k miles. It was a no brainer and we snatched it up. I look forward to meeting some folks here and learning a bit. Although my Dad was with Heavy Truck, he always had cool company things he received. He is gone now, but I will have to try to dig some of his things out. He had a 240 wagon as well and I remember how proud he was whenever he would earn a new badge for the grill. Well, enough of my rambling. I look forward to chatting with you all.
