Hey there, I'm new to this forum, I figured I'd join because it could be a good place to learn more about the ins and outs of the volvo I just bought. It's a 1979 volvo 242 with the b21 engine.

So anything I should know about the engine? It was rebuilt 40kish miles ago, and I noticed that although it's fuel injected it doesn't seem to have a fuel rail? I know this because I spent 3 hours a few days ago wrestling with an egg shaped fuel hose that refused to allow the vehicle to run unless it was fitted absolutely perfectly. This is my volvo, next to the cabin I stayed in while teaching for a summer camp.
