I have an 87 740 GLE with 310,000 miles. It was a California car, I am in Maine so its getting used to the weather change. It has very little rust as of right now and the only spots of concern are not common rust spots, the battery holder and above the windshield.

I love it to death it doesn't burn one drop of oil, and the previous owner took it in every 50K and told the dealership to do what ever they thought it needed, i think its on its 2nd or 3rd trany, 2nd windshield, and the it might have a rebuilt head on it.



taken two years ago and not much has changed. I mostly use it on the highway to and from college which is a 2 hour 140 mile trip one way, and she loves to cruse at 70. Last night i made the trip to Sunday River and i was late so every chance i took on Rt 2 i passed everyone, i hit 90 a few times and she loved it.
