Hello all!
I found this forum in search of some help... strongly considering a 2003 (or 2002) Volvo S60 2.4T. I posted a question in another area, but haven't gotten a response yet ( https://volvoforums.com/m_116086/tm.htm ).
Basic question... how is the long term reliability of these S60s? So far I hear they last a long time, but when they do break down or need maintenance, it can be expensive. Is this accurate?
Thanks!

I have a 2004 S60 2.5T AWD - I bought it nearly a year ago and thus far my repair expenses have included MAF (~$400), ABS Control Module (~$900) as well as numerous diagnostic procedures to track down the issues... I've had to replace one headlight (~1000) due to a cracked lens and purchased two sets of tires (oneset for summer, another set mounted on steel wheels for winter)since the ones the dealer provided were mismatched and rode horribly. I seem to have one bulb in my right tail light which burns out fairly regularly, so I've learned to keep a spare on hand so I can replace it right away and not have to clear the message every time I start the car. I'll try the bulb grease on my next change to see if that will help prolong the bulb's life. On the upside, the creature comforts are wonderful and I've been very happy overall with my purchase! Oh, I'm currently at 72,000 miles and looking forward to the arrival of my CD-ROM repair manual so I can really start playing under the hood!
