Hello to All....
My daughter just bought a 2002 S40 4 door. As dad I will be doing all the repairs and all the other stuff...I wanted to register with a great website. As usual there are issues that I have to deal with. One is that trunk latch came to us with problems. I did take the cover off of the inside of the trunk lid and found that a piece of plastic that ties the latch rod to the key and electrical solonoid(sp?) has broke. Both the key and the solonoid work...it just wont pull the rod up from the latch.
Oh well...it will get fixed...
