Default Hello from Carsonville, Pa

I'm not sure if I stopped by and made my introduction yet or not. I recently bought my first Volvo, a 1990 240 from my parents. It needs a little tlc, but overall is in pretty good shape. Will be stopping by the 240 forum to do some research on some of the common problems associated with the 240's.

LOL, I would suggest you keep it clean every 5,000 to 10,000 miles. I had a red block Volvo that I put more than 400,000 miles on and keeping the flame trap and throttle body clean helped it run well.

The flame trap is a small plastic piece in the intake/vacuum tubing. Google will be your friend.

I googled it after I posted that I didn't know what it is. Thanks for the tip.
