Hello IronLung,

Welcome to the forum, I hope you find it helpful & enjoyable.

When you have technical questions, be sure to post them in the vehicle-specific forums to get accurate replies. Also, before posting a thread, please do a bit of search, as you can often find answers to your questions via search. You do not have to go through 50 threads, just see if there is a similar question posted in the past, or use in-forum search function.

Good day!

Thanx JPN i will do so. RedTurbo850, the color is flint gray with stock 17 inch wheels. The whole car is pretty much stock, i would like to paint it black, and also remove that rubber/plastic trim it has on the bumpers and side skirts. Im really looking to buy wheels first since i loaned the car to my sister in laws family it came back with scratches on every wheel [:@]. Serves me right for letting someone borrow my baby . i dont have any pics right now but i will post them when i do. if anyone has some suggestions for mainly cosmetic parts feel free to let me know. thanks. Cosmetic Ideas

1. Grille

2. Possible body kit options from EuroSportTuning.

3. Tint

4. Rims (17 and or 18 inch)

5. Lower it

6. Paint the body mouldings to match your cars color.

Other then that nothing.

Suggest K & N Airfilter. If you stay on here long enough you'll get more ideas of mods to make. Welcome.

Be careful when you change your car's color, because it's really ugly when the exterior is black, and then the inside wells are all gray.

Thanks for the input guys. i was doing a search on line and managed to find a company called evolve. Would any of you guys recomend them for a body kit and other after market parts? or are they not really worth doing business with?

^They are a reputable company, and they are pretty big if I remember right.

But I'm pretty sure their kits are really expensive.

Yea i saw thier prices for the body kit but i guess they can charge as much as they want since not many companies make kits for the new body s40. Im still looking around but im pretty sure the evolve body kit is the one im going to get unless i manage to find another company that makes kits for the s40 that look nice and are also cheap. i doubt ill find some thing though. I have a question for you Redturbo (this might sound dumb [sm=dontgetit.gif]) what is the grey wall your talking about? And what would you recomend on doing about it if i decide to paint my car black?

Thanks.

Heico is another manufacturer who makes an S40 kit.

I mean that usually, when they paint, it's the exterior parts only. So you're going to have a black car, with gray (your stock color) door jams, trunk, inner doors, etc.
