Hello guys !

I'm a new member here, I'm from Bucharest, Romania, and just about a month ago I've bought a 2000 Volvo V40 with a 1.6 16V engine.
I'm extremely satisifed with this car, considering the fact that I come from an 1974 Dacia 1301 From my calculations, it consumes about 9L/100km in city driving, and about 6.5L/100km on the freeway.
Apart from small interior problems (small squeaks wich need fixing), I'm a bit concerned about the fact that it's full of electronic stuff (even the idle rpm is electronically regulated).
I joined this forum so I can talk to you and share different opinions about the car's problems, and eventually learning to fix it by myself as much as possible (just the gearbox alone is around 6000EUR here !!!!, a dashboard light bulb is around 5Eur, etc)
