Default Hello fellow Volvo lovers

I am new here so hello all. Am getting my XC60 tomorrow, yyeeeehhhhaaaaa!! It will be my forth Volvo, the first was a S60 T5, the next a S40 T5 and currently a XC90 3,2. The new baby is a T6 R-Design in black!

It's fantastic, can't wait.

Two odd things about it, why the rather pathetic day driving lights?? They are as bright as parking lights, come on Volvo, I believe you pioneered this concept, why not as good as those on Audi, MB or even Citroen?

Second odd thing, no fog lamps in front?? Even budget small cars have them these days! Why not a top of the range Volvo?

Even with these oddities can't wait for tomorrow. The smell of leather...

The XC90 was a great car! Never had any issues with it. We had it for 2 years and 70,000 k's, it had 30,000 on when we got it. Not even the slightest hiccup.

My wife had a "small misunderstanding" with another vehicle, the damage to the front of the XC was hardly visible, the damage to the other car frighteningly extensive! The back door of the other car could not close anymore We had our car checked out and repaired but it had NO internal damage, only the bumper.

It had enough get-up-and-go, but was obviously not fast. I often towed a heavy trailer with it, no problem.

The fuel Economy was not great, but it was a heavy car so not expected to be fugal. We got an average of about 13.5 in normal everyday use. (It seemed to be more thirsty when I was driving as compared to my wife, odd hey )

The only thing I did not like about it was small rattles and squeaks in the centre console and dash.

Fantastic machine, we as a family enjoyed it a lot, so much space, so smooth.

Yip, no regrets so far, love my new car. Feels more like a car. Only concern is about ground clearance, but does not seem to bad.
