I recently purchased a 1975 245 dl wagon. Low mile car and although I found it a bit homely it has grown on me and I find it pretty cool. I was looking for a 850 turbo wagon and just couldn't find a manual trans in a car that I found worth what I was wanting to spend so...

Odometer says 50k and it was suppose to just quit working in the last year. Car has a bit of rust but very minor so I will fix it before it get further along. I was going to run the valve lash last night as it was a bit noisy. Found that I had a broken rocker on the #2 intake side. #3 will be breaking soon I suspect? Getting the hands dirty already.

So here I am to find info on my new volvo. Looks like a nice site!

Name is Ryan and I am 37. Married with 3 kids ages 14, 4, and 6 months. I work mounting hoists on waste handling trucks and enjoy tinkering on about anything interesting. Current projects other than the current car are a rm 125 of my boys and a redline mono-cog (mine). I've had many different cars in the last five or six years and really just enjoy learning how each are different in design and performance. Turbo 2.3l fords have been the most fun thus far. Hope I can bring something to the forum to benifit others and hope to learn some from those already here! So again hello!

Now off to the wanted ads to see if i can track down some rockers!

Where might I find more info on the 245 dl wagons? I checked the faq and did some searching to no avail. Also any other websites of interest or fellow owners would be great. I do not even know what different options motor wise my car had for 1975. Thanks in advance!
