Just registered, thought I'd I give some background before I start posting questions. My family's been a Volvo family since the '90s. We've had one or two lemons, but the rest just keep going. I just got a 1988 244DL for $900. It's in great condition, but it's really never received much maintenance beyond tires, oil changes, and the normal fluid top-ups so there's some hoses that are failing among other things.
