Hello, hows it going,
17 yrs old.
'99 S70 GLT w/ 106k miles on it (Auto-but I wish it were stick), unmodified as of now, but performance filter (or possibly intake) should be in the near future. The car is not really mine (as my dad loves to remind me), but I am the only one who drives it regularly. Unfortunately, I will soon have to share my preciousssss with my oh-so-unresponsible sister as well.
The only reason I'm driving a Volvo instead of a 20 year old Buick Sumerset is because my mom has been even more crazy about safety ever since her and my sister were in a head-on-collision with a car that swerved into their lane (everyone was alright, no real severe injuries). So hmmm... '99 Volvo S70 instead of a prehistoric Buick... I can live with that
Neither of my parents works on cars, so I'm more-or-less by myself to figure things out. I'm a "well how does it work?" kind-of guy, so I love getting under the hood whenever I get the chance. So far I've only managed to take off a coil pack while changing a plug, just to have the coil stop working during the process (cost 60$), but other than that I'm doing alright.
Other than all that, I'm just saying hello!
