Recently got my hands on a 1987 240 B230 w/ m47 5 speed. Great original car with tons of documentation. Including the dealer window sticker! Car is a great driver, drove it 93 miles on day of purchase (yesterday) and all around town today with the family! It does need new valve hushers and the clutch adjusted but those will be an easy fix.


As for me, my name is Tom. I'll be turning 27 at the end of the month so that makes me the same vintage as the 240 lol I'm happily hitched with a son who has the same passion for cars as me and the wife so life is grand! I am a diesel service technician by trade, working for Kenworth currently. My family and I live, work and repeat in beautiful Texarkana, Texas!

It is really a solid built car..Looks pretty tough..well then Volvo's have always been tough..

Thanks Kimberly, If this 240 is half as tough as my old 91 740 wagon then it'll be awesome! Once hauled 25 concrete blocks in that old wagon plus some concrete and lumber! lol
