Hello from Long Island, NY
Hello everyone...just got a 2000 Volvo S70 I5 5-speed Auto with 117k on the odometer.
Story behind it: Had my 1995 Pontiac Bonneville SLE for 7 years, had 211k on the clock...went onto parkway to work and instead of 3rd she grenaded the transmission. Had one day off after, ran around looking through Craigslist at cars, found this with a middle age couple that took it to NH and back (and also left it in NH). Seemed well kept, some minor cosmetic issues like vinyl peel in door. Seems well appointed...cd changer, leather, sunroof, etc. By the way, got this beauty for $2,100

Thank you, I'll take heed to the warnings in the video. The first things he mentioned there were done (timing belt, tensioner, water pump). The only issue I have other than sticking starter solenoid is Vehicle Speed Sensor A (CEL came on for it)...I cleared it but the trans today was downshifting hard at random...I'm guessing with the adjustable algorithm it's seeing the wrong speed?
