I am on my 3rd Vovlo. My first one was a blue '98 S70, but the ex got it in the divorce. (Still miffed about that one…) My 2nd one was a cute little red ’01 S40 1.9T. I loved that little car. I fell asleep on my way to work one morning and hit a telephone pole head on. Both airbags deployed and the car was totaled…but I was completely unharmed.
Monday, I bought another ’01 S40 1.9T. This one is Midnight Metallic and has every option! It is in decent shape, both interior and exterior. It has 163K miles on it. There are a few minor things wrong with it. The sunroof doesn’t work, the light is out on the shifter, the windshield washers do not work, the cup holder doesn’t stay closed, and of course, the check engine light is on. I’m going to take it to the mechanic that has worked on my other Volvo’s next week. I got a really good deal on it, so even if I have to do a little work to it, I think it’s going to be ok.
