Hey! I'm Aimee, first-time Volvo owner and loving it.
Hey guys! I'm Aimee from Columbus, Ohio. This past August I sold my first car, a 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE, for a '99 Volvo V70. It's got 130k miles on it, loaded with options, and it's probably the most luxurious ride I've ever been in. For being 10 years old, this car is in fantastic condition and I put a lot of effort into keeping it that way.
I'm also interested in learning how to detail cars. One of the reasons I joined this forum is because I want to learn how to care for my car myself as much as possible - being a college student, I find the repair costs pretty steep.
As soon as I buy a new camera, I'll post some pictures!

Welcome to the forum.
10 years are not much for modern cars, if taken good care of. Be sure to follow scheduled maintenance stipulated in the owner's manual. This is where 90% of all drivers fail to do, hence the shortened life of the car.
There was a great little book on automotive detailing, but I forgot its title.
Hop over to the V70 forum for technical questions.
