hi all newbie to volvo cars have been driving trucks for 30years not all volvo but more and more recently, i got my first volvo car (second hand ) yesterday a v70 estate 2001 no particular reason for buying it as i do continental driving from dublin ( home town ) and away for 12 days at a time am the only driver in the house so the car will be parked all the time just want to ask do you think i`ll have any problems starting it after 12 day lay up it has been serviced dont know the condition of battery but assume it ok

If the battery is strong you shouldn't have any problems starting it. I use to park mine up to 30 days at a time.

The only issue I have heard complaints from on that car is the transmissions. Not sure if many of them had problems or just certain models like the AWD ones. Let us know if you need any help with anything.
