Default Hi There

Recently bought a 1995 volvo since they seem to be pretty safe and durable cars.

Glad to find a place where I can ask some questions about the little quirks and annoyances that come with a 13yr old spunk sedan.

Welcome to the forum, I wish you find it helpful.

Cars could actually last a lot longer than they do, but they don't because of neglected scheduled maintenance. You can make a car going strong for 20 years/200,000 miles or more without major servicing on major components, just by following scheduled maintenance and know what not to do.

Best of luck to you,

JPN
