Hola,
well to start things off....
I've always had a Volvo. it runs in the family to own one i guess you could say. My gpa is 81 going on 82 and he buys wrecked volvos and fixes them up and has been doing it for many years now. I grew up around Volvos and trucks, and my first car was a 93 Volvo Station Wagon. It was my baby, and I had been through hell an back with it lol. Untill Oct 2010, My husband and I were driving in from out of town and we had a blow out, which caused the steering wheel to completely lock up and the car turned right and we hit the guard rail. the car was totalled. I can't say much about the wreck, bc we hit so hard I blacked out.
I miss my car alot, more than i thought I would, and I was getting ready to put some money into it
but in the end, my parents bought a new 2011 camry, and so i bought my stepdad's volvo off of him. its a 88 volvo sedan. nothing special done to it, but it runs in perfect condition I must say and looks like new. we are getting ready to put some Kenwood speakers, and Im eagerly wanting to do some work to it.
I have been part of Texasracers.com for couple years now, and I finally decided to look up a Volvo forum. which is how i came to find this one lol.
Im really hoping I can finally find some people that like Volvos as much as I do lol.....ya'll can call me Shorty
