Default Honda Lover...with a Swedish Brick fetish.

Hey everyone...

As I'm required to introduce myself upon joining, I'll start by explaining my screen name. As indicated in the title, I love Hondas. Old Hondas. The old CVCC Civics are my standard for "cute" and the 3rd generation Accord ('86-'89) is my standard for Elegance and refinement. http://www.3geez.com I own a 1989 Honda Accord LX-i named Alexi, (hence the SN) and he's presently waiting for a new engine. So in the meantime I'm stuck with Wolfgang, a 1992 BMW 318is. But, after hanging around with one of my Historic Preservation friends for too long (plus my long held fascination with 245's) I find myself interested in getting an old 240 Station Wagon, but that's a topic in a different forum.

I also have a thing for two-wheeled contraptions...I collect Vintage Bicycles. So I ride a 1939 Elgin, and I'm working on a late 1920's Schwinn "motorbike" and have a 1936 Roadmaster in the wings. And you thought Volvos were an expensive hobby. I have to pay $400 for a headlight.

Alas, I have class in 10 minutes....

Everyone say hey!

Wes

No conversion necessary! I can split my love between more than one manufacturer, just not my budget. I'm not one of those guys that drives around with a spoiler sticking 10 feet in the air. There's something about all of these 80's cars that's just really appealing. I like the clean hard lines (some people call it boxy), pop-up headlights, and the 80's industrial design that went into producing the dash displays on these cars.
