Hi Y'all! My name is Nichole. My Husband and I just purchased a used 2000 v70 SE after he convinced me he had to have it (I was lusting after Outbacks and Passats). I see why now! I love my new car, the way it feels, etc, but already started having issues. *sigh* At least from whatI have read they are software issues that can be easily fixed (I hope!).
Still getting used to driving a car as I have been driving a Suburban for several years. I have to admit, though, that I am loving the Volvo.

Volvos are known as the safest cars on the planet. While other cars become like used up Kleenex in a collision, your Volvo would protect you & other passengers better than any other passenger cars possibly could.

Welcome to the forum, and be sure to post your questions in the V70 section to get most accurate replies. I'm an 850 driver, and could not help you any better than those in the V70 section.
