Hello everybody!
I just bought a '94 850 Wagon...
My family has had Volvos for years,
My dad used to rebuild cars, do clip jobs, etc...
My brother and my sister both have 850's, so i guess that i was just
destined to follow suit.
The problem is that it's have starting issues.
Most of the threads about this that I've seen are about cars that just won't start, period. Mine seems to be intermittent.
After trying it off and on for like 10 minutes it just decides that its gonna start... and when it runs, its like a champ.
The problem starts when i gun the engine, like from a stoplight, then just suddenly let off, the tach just drops to nothing and the car dies.
A couple of times i was able to get it back by stepping on the gas...
but usually i'm stuck on the side of the road for a couple of minutes.
Any ideas anyone has would be greatly appreciated!
