Howdy.
My name's Matt. I've been a Volvo owner for a few years now. (My first car was a 2001 V40 1.9T, now I'm driving a 2001 S60T5).
I didn't know what to get as a first car. My dad was going to help me get a Ford Focus, then we happened across the V40 and got it right away. I loved the car and the storage space was so amazing. I took quite a few long trips in it easily fitting me and 4 other people plus all our luggage for a weekend (including two females who insisted on packing as if we'd be gone for a month).
Sadly, I was in Arizona one day, and being used to the hectic driving in LA, I was a really tired and the freeway was very calm, and I fell asleep at the wheel. I hit a light post at 65 mph, and knocking the light post over. But thanks to my car, me and two friends walked away with sore backs. I was already really into Volvos, but surviving that crash with minimal damage to myself and my friends truly turned me into a Volvo for life kind of guy.
I truly miss that car because it was so good to me, but now I'm driving my S60T5 and I love it.
So here's to staying awake behind the wheel.
Thanks for reading to those who bothered with my rather long introduction. I hope to become a regular part of the community.
