Default Howdy

Hello, I own a 93 Volvo 240 with some number of miles that is larger than 107K (odometer is busted). I bought it thinking I'd learn to repair it and save money, but so far have just been taking it to the mechanic (a lot). I hope I can learn some things here about car repair, glad to see such an awesome resource!

The problem with the odometer is probably a gear in it. Over time they basically turn to rubber and teeth break. I replaced the gear in my odometer with a kit iPd sells which contains the gear and an instructional DVD. The kit is like $30. Here's the link 240 Odometer Repair Kit
I hope you enjoy your 240!
