Howdy!
Hey y'all! New to the forum, and after years of internet/forum citizenship I figured I'd actually make an introduction post for once!
My husband and I bought a 1990 740 GLE 16v, our first Volvo recently, after wanting a nice old Volvo forever and finally having jumped on one. Needless to say it's been a fantastic car in the month or so we've owned it, and we're definitely Volvo converts! The gentleman who sold it to us is a Volvo mechanic himself of 15 years, so with barely over 200,000km, it's been well taken care of! We're very surprised by the comfort the car affords, heck I dare say it's luxurious. Leather seats, great features/controls, it's a nicer car than anything my friends have. We weren't prepared for the way the controls are laid out either; it's a perfect car, everything is where you want it to be, and it's just a joy to drive.
As you can see, we're very happy to be a part of the family! We'll be engaging as we need with questions and concerns that may pop up (one post on the way) but I hope I don't have to do too much problem solving with it!

Looking forward to the days and posts to come! Thanks y'all!
