Howdy! New Kid w/ 98 V70r.
Yo! So, as my title says, I'm the new kid.. Nice to meet you all!! This is my 2nd V70 other needed engine replaced and I was moving down here to San Antonio,Texas, so I had to sell it.. But, luckily I ran across my new 98 V70r.. Love it!! But, still kinda unsure of what I'm getting into, so I'm here to learn whatever I can about these cars and meet new people who also like Volvo, I'm guessing i'm in the right place. Oh yeah, sorry for not properly introducing myself, my name is Jay. Again, very nice to meet you all..

Hi Jay, welcome to the forum.
If you want a quick learn about your car, you can look at the stickys in the S70/V70 and 850 sections. The is a lot of info there to get you up and running real fast.
The first thing you want to do is make sure you have a good timing belt. Then service the PCV system. After that you should service the tranny. If your R is still AWD, try to make sure you put tires on them in sets, not one or two here and there.
Post some pics, we like to see pics. What color did you get?
