Hi, to everyone.
Just brought my first Volvo 1997 v70 and very pleased with it too, brought it on ebay in the UK and drove back to Ireland.
It has a couple of faults ABS / TRACS lights on but easily fixed i hope

Welcome to VF. I agree that it definitely sounds like your ABS Module. If you do a search, you can find out how to fix it.

 

I stripped the module and got the soldering iron out, IT WORKS

 

Nice job. Now if you can fix that, you can fix anything on your car. And if you need any help, just let us know.
