so my E30 blew a head gasket,and i didn't have time to rebuild the engine because i deliver pizza 6 days a week.plus im saving up money to slap a V8 in to my E30 Vert.so i borrowed 1500 bucks from a friend went to a used car dealership and i got a V70 wagon with 167k miles on it ive probably put around 300 miles now so iam at 168k with 100 something in change i think iam the second owner if not third.$5995 was the total damage to my wallet but iam paying 300 bucks a month .questions are

HOW long can these 5 Cyl engines last?
WHAT maintenance issues shouldn't be overlooked?

 

1. Forever.
2. Timing belt change if it hasn't been done recently.
