just wanted to say hello.
Hello everybody.
I have just bought a volvo s80 1999 2.4 petrol automatic.
I live in UK so, steering wheel is at "inproper side" :-)
I was looking for something like economical estate for my family but when I drove this car I just have bought it :-)
It is very confortable car - I have to say, just take a bit more fuel than I was expected. 11l/100km average is almost twice like other eco disels take.
My manual doesn't say anything about a BPH of this car. I saw two different options like 140BPH and 170BPH for 2.4 normal engine. Maybe someone knows which one do I have?
The car is quite old and I already found things to be done, but it just works like that.
Btw. I looked at ebay and I found auctions selling a diagnose-software for this car and OBD2 cables.
So far I haven't looked for place the OBD2 socket is in my car but I'm going to buy this soft and lead and play a bit. I have got a message on dash board saying that I supose to check SRS and Autoalarm. Maybe I will reset these using this soft. I have heard as well about possibility of tuning a ECP chip (I'm not sure if it is called like that). Will see later on and I'll let you all know when I'll get all this equipment.
So far a bit work has to be done so I'll return here not even once probably.
Greets to all Volvo owners!
