Lauren from California.
I'm 22 from Southern California. I've been a Volvo lover all of my life. I come from a family of Volvo enthusiasts. I have owned an '87 240 DL for the past 3 years. I recently purchased a '67 123 GT and an '85 240 DL wagon. I am here to learn more about what I have and get some help giving new life to my babies.
None of them are in brilliant condition (the GT still needs an engine), but I will try and post pics and update as I restore them. My main focus is to get the wagon to run and fully restore it. A girl in North Park didn't know what to do with it when it broke down on her last week, so she practically gave it away for $50.
That is awesome! I am not into working on my own vehicles anymore (did that for many years). Now I can afford to have someone else work on my cars and toys! But good luck and post when you can. This is a great forum but we need more and more members.
Have a great week!
Have a great week!
Just an update: I bought another '86 240DL off of a friend for $700 a few days back. The only major problem that has come to my attention is the horribly fading paint job. I'm hoping I'll have pictures soon.
