I have a 2008 Volvo C70. I am unable to get into the vehicle because the battery is dead. The emergency key does not work because it needs power to drop the window. windows need to be open before the door is open. I need to get into the car to open the hood. How do I open the hood from the outside?

not sure about needing the window to be dropped to open a door with the emergency key. Did you check out any of the how to videos on Youtube?
