Been a member for a month or so, so I'd guess I'd better introduce myself. Been into Volvos for a few years now. Got my S80 in 2006, and fell in love. My mom had a few XC90's and loved them, so I picked up the S80. Bought my wife an XC90 in July 08, and we loved that as well for the 10 days we had it. A tree fell on it in a storm and flattened it from the 2nd row back. We couldn't find another one just like it, and a Land Rover LR3 caught her eye so we picked that up to replace the XC90. Got into an accident with my S80 and it had over $9k in damage, so it was totalled out. Found a V70 T5 the next day and fell in love all over again, bought it on the spot. I do all my own maintainence that is outside of warranty, and have been all around the S80, so if you have questions on S80's, I'd consider myself a good resource. Learning quickly about the V70. The S80 was the first vehicle I ever owned that didin't have to go into the shop in a 2yr period. If that doesn't say something about Volvo quality, I don't know what does.

 

Love does not come cheap, I conclude.
