My first ever forum
Hi all
I joined, somewhat tentatively as my first ever forum, a few days ago, posting for help with my '87 740gle auto.
She's been in my care for nearly 8 years & is the best car I've ever owned, by far - 5 years ago a friend scoffed at my paying £500 to replace the gearbox "why not just buy another?". They have obviously never owned a volvo!
I'm not a loreal girl but she is definitely worth it.
I actually posted before reading the new members advice... Thankfully I covered all the tips & have had a very helpful reply already.

Hi and welcome to VolvoForums. The best car that I ever owned was my '87, 740 GLE. When I sold it to a single mom for $7.38 it had 405,000 miles on it. Looked and ran very good. One of the few cars I would ever own again.
