Default My First Volvo

Hi all ~
Just picked up a 1997 960 wagon with 229,000 miles on it. I bought it from the second owner who, at 74 years old and using it as her daily driver, decided it was suddenly too big and had downsized to a Honda Civic. No rust, great interior and runs great with some minor attention needed on a few items including trying to figure out when the timing belt was done last. There is a Volvo replacement sticker on the cover but the date/mileage has faded. I'm going to try the VIN# with a dealership to see if I can find out.
Here it is -

Welcome to the forum.

Your 960 seems to need some front-end cosmetic work, but with the right owner, Volvos can outlast Japanese makes.

Be sure to post technical questions/answers in the 960 forum.

Happy Holidays,

JPN

Thanks JPN, Yes it does have some bruising on the bumpers, like I said, over the years, the car got "too big" for her. I don't mind, I like projects and for the $400 I paid for a running, ready to drive car, I can't complain at all. I do plan on keeping her long term so I will treat the "Sven wagon" with TLC.
