Hey guys. I just picked up my first Volvo today. My uncle has had them for years and I came across a sweet deal, so I decided to pick one up for myself. I bought a 1999 S80 T6. It needs a little work, but it seems amazing so far!

 

Not too long ago I bought a 1992 Volvo 240 Wagon. It's my first Volvo. Hooray for first Volvo ownership!

Thanks for the welcome. I figured I would find a good forum to use for help and suggestions on things I need to buy for the car. I'm thinking I should change the timing belt and everything associated as well as a few other minor problems.

 

hey we've all got Volvos here too, I have a standard 850, and a v40, my daily car is the V40, mainly because the 850 is a thirsty car by comparison, I did for a short while have a 940 turbo, I liked the kick that one gave and the magic way everyone coming the other way got out of the way when they saw that beast coming. my 850 now has 266,000 miles on it and still takes off from the lights well enough for a non turbo auto box, but then it tows a caravan without noticing its there too.

Hey thanks again for the welcomes. I picked up the little S80 cheap, so I thought id give it a shot. I guess Im going to have to learn to work on Volvos now.
