hey guys/girls. i just purchased a 96 pearl white 850T for a daily driver. i actually registered on here in january when i purchased an 85 245dl wagon and was searching around about some issues i was having with it. unfortunately i never got them resolved and it's still sitting in my yard i have actually been building, tuning (not 'tuning' like i'm some gay honda ricer 'tuner', but i am a freelance ems tuner) and racing honduh's for the past few years and am ready to turn my 00 civic si in to a full race car and needed another daily driver. the luxury, styling and safety of the older volvo's has always been appealing to me, that and the fact that they can be had at a very good price. i'll be poking around here a lot now i'm sure, since i do all of my own work from oil changes to building motors from the ground up, i have a little bit to learn about my volvo. i'll post some pics of my 850 when i get her cleaned up, it literally just came off the shipping truck today. i've already found tons of great information, see ya around!

lol yeah, looks almost identical with different rims and no R badge. the car exterior and interior are in VERY good condition, but the seller shipped the car to me completely filthy. i think i will enjoy it much better with a nice detailing job. it has really grown on me a lot in the past 8 hours it's actually been in my prescence i have a feeling i'm really going to enjoy this car and keep it around for a while. unfortunately my first volvo experience wasn't a great one (the 245dl i mentioned in my first post), so i'm hoping the 850 will redeem the volvo's to me....
