Hi to all.
Days ago I was given a 1981 245 DL. The previous owners had it in a warehouse and needed to say goodbye to it.

So new to me!
Some basic issues to resolve before registering it in CA.

We've had a 244 and a 245 in the family years ago so this one going to be a fun project.
I'll be searching here for answers. I look forward to this community.

An update...
New valve cover gasket.
New plugs and timing.
New muffler and tailpipe.
Timing set to run a bit lean.

Insured, passed Smog check & registered. Timing set back.
Steam cleaned the engine bay including under lid and underneath the car.

Comming soon..
New fuel accumulator and check valve
Better sway bars, IPD
Ceramic window tint before the triple digit days
Sand blast the original 14" wheels and powdercoat them
Clean up and or replace the Volvo hubcaps
new front seat(s)
