New 2 Volvo / New 2 Forum
Just wanted to introduce myself. I hate it when folks just start yapping on the motorcycle forum to which I belong and nobody knows them. I'm new to Volvos, just got an 850 Wagon (97). Car is very clean even though it has 180K on it. I'm pretty mechanically minded so I can do many minor things myself. So far I've fixed a droopy headliner, replaced faulty lift gate shocks. Other than a few minor squeaks that I haven't had the time to track down, that's pretty much all the issues my "new" Volvo has. Looking forward to learning tips/tricks from the folks in here with much more experience than me. I'm a pretty quick study so I hope to be a contributor, rather than just a sponge befort too long. Thanks in advance for all the help that I'm sure I'll receive from the good folks in this forum.

I my self am trying to learn to do on my Volvo. I have a 97 GLT, similar to what you have. Great cars with a HUGE following! Def. in the right place to learn bout your car and how to if you are a DIY'er. There are also good folks with good info and different experiences on here. Post pics. of your wagon so we can see what you ride in. Welcome aboard!
