I just purchased a 1984 Volvo 240 for my 14 year old son and I to rework for the next couple of years. It will be his first car. It has 205k miles, runs pretty good and needs minor bodywork. Picked it up for $600 and think that was fair. My wife had a V70 that we regret getting rid of still today, so I know about how great Volvo's are. Gonna need some parts and probably some help with the restoration. Glad to be here!

I hope the 240 comes back to life. Too bad about the V70, but you may get another one someday.
