Thanks. I am glad of that, especially since I didn't do any research on that particular model or anything, just found a good deal (one owner, 102K miles in good shape for $3050). I noticed driving it the 320 miles straight home from SC that it has a good bit of "pep" and power for a sedan ... yet I now see it is the lowest cost on our car insurance policy for 4 cars (97 Camry, 91 Lumina, 90 Camry)! I have always been a staunch Toyota man, but this thing has got my wife and I really noticing Volvo!

 

Welcome. I purchased the same vehicle for my son when he turned 16. Great first car. We put some 16" wheels on it, tinted the windows and installed a spoiler. He really likes the car. Biggest thing is they are SAFE.
