I just picked up a 1971 P1800. It needs some body work that I am currently tackling, but a complete car. Below are pictures of the windscreen and the side trim that runs the length of the car. Does the windscreen gasket look correct and do you think it will accept the metal trim pieces that are missing. As for the side trim, mine has metal supports with rubber (?) inserts. The inserts don't run the length of the trim pieces, which is weird. Is this stock? If so, is the replacement insert material available or something that will fit, and if so, where? Otherwise, I either do away with it or go with earlier model solid metal pieces.

That is aftermarket trim. The rubber inserts have shrunk. The factory trim was not rubber.
