Hi Everyone - i just purchased my very first Volvo- I bought the 21' XC90. I think I drove most luxury cars in the market and finally decided on this one. I do love the car and I do keep m cars for a very long time - 8 - 10 years so fingers crossed this one lasts that long also. My question is the Volvo dealership talked me into the ultimate protection warranty package which covers battery replacement ( i was told this also requires a software update?? ) 1 brake pads /rotor replacement / windshield wipers / headlight , maybe some other things. We usually do not buy these extra warranties as i always think they are a waste of money. What is everyone's thoughts on these warranties that have a newer than 5 year old Volvo. Are they worth the expense? i am just trying to make myself feel better at this point since i have signed the dotted line ~
