I can answer some tech question,I did turn wrench's for 6 years prior to this, but not much wrenching on Volvo's.But I do hear, see and try to learn some of the things the techs here talk about.

Hey Andy,
Not sure if I should have created a post elswhere but since I'm responding to your generous offer to assist with VIN related info I'll pass on the info from here. My vin is YV4982CZ0A1537370
I recently had an engine light come on and an OBD2 test said:
"A" Camshaft Profile Control Circuit/Open Bank 2. The "A" camshaft shall be either the "intake," "left," or "front" camshaft. Left/Right and Front/Rear are determined as if viewed from the driver's seating position. Bank 1 contains cylinder number one, Bank 2 is the opposite bank.
So I'm guessing that the problem is a camshaft position sensor that is getting ready to go..I believe there are two, which are located at the top of the engine to the right when facing the vehicle . Which one of the two would be the culprit, the one closest to the firewall/windshield or the one closer to front Grill or are they interchangeable? What would the part number (s) be?
I tried uploading a photo of the motor to assist. The two things I believe are the sensors have a green dot on them. If the photo doesn' t show up, I can provide you my email and we can exchange info. I'm also looking to do my brakes in the spring and would like to know exactly what parts I'm going to need since there are three different rotor sizes.
