New here with my 2000 V40
I just found the Volvo Forums! I have a 2000 V40 with 88K on it. It's white with black leather interior.
It's fun to have people stare at the car and try to figure out what it is. Most folks think it a Subaru...
Problems
Only problems to date were a spark misfire. Had the plugs and wires replaced.
Service
Service in my area is another problem. The dealership rarely has the V40 parts in inventory. They also (regularly) order the wrong parts. They also failed to tighten the front wheel lug nuts after the brake system recall.
Fortunately, I have a good independent shop here.
